Welcome to Johnny Carino’s website (the “Site”).  This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, secure, use and disclose your Personal Information. Johnny Carino’s (also “we”, “our”, “us) refers to non-franchisee Johnny Carino’s restaurants and its owners and operators, who are not part of the Johnny Carino’s retail franchisee network. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those independent third-party franchisees, who own their businesses and may operate their own websites, mobile applications, social media pages, or other online services.  You should refer to their privacy policies for more information about their practices.     

 

Information Collected From You

We may collect Personal Information you provide directly to us, such as your name, postal address, email address, zip code, phone number and dining preferences. 

We may also collect personal information about you when you sign up for a mailing list, a mobile app, provide information as part of a purchase or contact us through our email address or social media pages. In addition, we may collect your username, password, and other information if you register for an account or participate in a survey, rewards program, contest or promotion with us. 

When you visit our website, we collect other data that may not be Personal Information, such as your activity on the Site, the websites you visited before and after our Site, and the type of device you used to access our Site.

Opting Out of Marketing Communications

If you no longer wish to receive ongoing marketing communications from us, unsubscribe as explained in the marketing communication itself, or by submitted a request at www.carinos.com/contact-us or by writing us at: 6705 West Highway 290 #50296, Austin, TX 78735.

You can cancel marketing (SMS) texts at any time by texting “STOP.”  For further information on unsubscribe   We will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

Also, there are “do not track” or similar browser choices available to internet users with respect to online web activity, but given the present lack of consensus of what constitutes an informed election, appropriate trigger or breadth of scope of such choice, our Site will not operate any differently when a “do not track” signal is received.

 

Collecting Information from Children Under the Age of 13

Our Site and systems are not designed for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from any person under the age of 13. If we learn that such a child has provided us with personally identifiable information, we will immediately delete it. Our response to a request is at no cost to you. We endeavor to respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) days of its receipt. If we require more time, we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.
