Catering Frequently Asked Questions

How do I place a catering order?

You can order for delivery or pick-up on our website by selecting the “Order Catering Online” icon.  For more personalized service, or to inquire about our full-service option, call our catering specialists at 877-727-8241 (Monday – Friday 8 am to 7 pm CST). 

How much notice do you need?

We do book up quickly, so we suggest placing your order as far in advance as possible.   Delivery orders need to be placed by 5 pm for next day delivery and is subject to availability.   We can accommodate most pick-up orders with only a 4-hour notice; however, we suggest calling us at 877-727-8241 to confirm request.

What is the minimum order amount?

Our minimum for delivery within our delivery zone is $100 before taxes, coupons, and delivery fee.  Outside our delivery zone there is a $350 minimum before taxes, coupons, and delivery fee.  There is no minimum if you would like to pick-up your catering order.

What are your delivery zones and fees?

 To provide you with hot, fresh food at the right temperature we will deliver your order up to 20 miles based on availability.  We charge a delivery fee of $15 on orders up to 5 miles.  Orders within 6 – 15 miles is a $20 delivery fee, and orders within 16-20 miles is a $30 delivery fee and a $350 minimum food total.

What comes with my delivery order?

Our delivery option is perfect for meetings or social gatherings.  We’ll deliver and set-up Johnny Carino’s bold Italian flavors to you in disposable aluminum pans, along with serving and eating utensils, plates, and napkins. 

Can I pick up my catering order?

Yes!  This is a great option for smaller gatherings.  There is no minimum purchase amount if you choose to pick-up yourself.  We will package your food in disposable aluminum pans and supply the serving and eating utensils, plates, and napkins.

Do you provide servers?

For those special occasions like weddings, festive gatherings, or corporate functions our Full-Service option is the perfect fit.  Our catering specialists will help you create an Italian meal to remember.  We set up your buffet complete with serving utensils and chafing dishes to keep your food hot and delicious while one of our professional team members serve your guests buffet-style.  Full-Service is available at select locations. We do not supply tables or linens.  Set-up fee of $45 per buffet station and $35 per hour, per server charge during event serving times.

What forms of payment do you accept”

Our preferred form of payment is Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover.  We can accept PO and House Account; however, a pre-approval is required.  Call our Catering Support Center for more information at 877-727-8241.

We do not accept personal checks, gift cards or restaurant passes.  Due to the safety of our drivers, cash payments are not recommended.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes. We require a 25% deposit to confirm your event date and time.  The remainder of your payment will be applied the morning of your event.
