Company Restaurants: Hourly Staff Member Benefits

At Carino’s Italian, we are proud to offer a variety of benefits that are designed to meet the needs of our hourly staff members. Our benefits coverage provides for the health and well being of our staff members and their families, time off to enhance your quality of life, and programs like our credit union for your financial needs. Health Care Benefits

• Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance
• Immediate Eligibility – no waiting period.
• PPO coverage with choice of two limited-pay medical plans in all company markets.
• At Carino's, we begin participation in the staff member’s medical insurance premiums after one year of service and the contribution amount increases until the premium is 100% company paid after five years. See the chart below for the contribution percentages for years of service:
• 0-1 years of service: 0% company paid
• 1-3 years of service: 25% company paid
• 3-5 years of service: 50% company paid
• 5+ years of service: 100% company paid
  Note: Company paid premiums for health benefits are adjusted annually at open enrollment.
• Term Life Insurance and AD&D
• Carino's offers Basic Term Life and AD&D insurance to our staff members at a nominal cost. Upon the staff member’s enrollment, we also offer coverage for your spouse and children.

Time Off Benefits

• Anniversary Bonus
• The Anniversary Bonus is paid automatically and designed to reward Full Time staff members for their years of service with the company. Staff members can use their Anniversary Bonus in conjunction with accrued vacation days, or staff members can use their bonus however they wish without taking time off from work.
  
  Anniversary Bonus for Staff Members averaging 25 hours or more per week: (Calculations on hours are based on the prior 6 months of service):
  Anniversary bonuses will be paid on the following scale per year:
  Years 3 & 5: $600 BOH / $350 FOH
  Years 7 & 10: $850 BOH / $600 FOH
  Years 12 & 15:$1200 BOH /$900 FOH
  
• Vacation Days
• Carino's offers vacation days to allow our staff members time to relax away from the workplace. This unpaid benefit may be used in conjunction with your anniversary bonus.
• Year 1: 5 vacation days after first anniversary
• Years 2-5: 5 vacation days every six months
• Years 6-10: 7 vacation days every six months
• Years 11+: 10 vacation days every six months
